GIS Services
Our GIS staff includes a range of GIS and cartographic skill levels including Technician, Analyst, Senior Analyst, and GIS Manager. Our combined experience and understanding allows us to provide a full spectrum of GIS services, including data quality assessment, basic data maintenance and mapping, as well as more complex tasks such as database design, enterprise data integration and analysis.
Enterprise Web GIS Application Development (Mapping Applications, Story Maps)
Our team has worked with ArcGIS Online, Portal, and third-party software applications including Geocortex to provide interactive mapping applications to our clients. We have created public-facing GIS viewers, internal GIS viewers, and mobile applications.
ArcGIS Enterprise Implementation and Upgrades
It can be difficult for local agencies to stay current with the ArcGIS platform. We work closely with new and existing clients to upgrade older GIS platforms to modern ArcGIS Enterprise architecture. We work directly with clients to understand future requirements, install and configure software, and migrate services.
GIS Data Development, Design and Maintenance
Providing GIS data services to municipalities is one of our core GIS services. Our GIS team currently maintains GIS databases for multiple municipalities throughout Northern and Southern California. We are prepared to maintain the various datasets and geodatabases at your organization, in accordance with your standards.
GIS Integration with 3rd Party Business Systems (Permitting, Asset Management, 911)
We work closely with clients to integrate GIS data, workflows, and solutions with a variety of local government business systems including Accela, SunGard Naviline, SunGard ONESolution, EnerGov, TRAKit, Comcate, MaintStar, Tyler Eden, Tyler Munis, Maximo, Cartegraph, Intergraph, Versaterm, and Sunridge RIMS.
GIS Assessment / Recommendations
Our team has worked with multiple local government organizations throughout California to assess and recommend implementation tasks related to GIS data, software, system design, integration with third party systems, relationships with related agencies, and GIS skills.
GIS Training and Outreach
Our GIS staff has provided numerous training and outreach programs for client staff to assist in the deployment and use of GIS. Promoting GIS as a common resource helps your staff become more efficient in their daily work. We are prepared to work with your GIS staff to mentor and help build their professional capabilities.
Mark Dumford
GIS Team Leader
Infinity Technologies’ GIS Team Lead, Mark Dumford has 32 years of GIS experience providing GIS implementation, strategic planning, system integration, data creation, map creation, emergency management and training. Mark specializes in broader GIS strategic planning and project management within local government agencies.
Since 2020, Mark has provided GIS implementation services to the City of Pico Rivera as the GIS Manager. Mark has also served the GIS Services Manager for the City of Rancho Cordova (2008-current), the County of Sacramento (2006-2007) and the City of Sacramento (1994-2004). In addition to his management role, Mark has provided GIS services in the form of custom maps and analysis, maintenance of data layers, integration of GIS with EnerGov, field collection, and enhancement of GIS tools to staff and the general public. As the project manager for large technical projects, Mark delivered External Web Applications and Regional GIS Data Integration systems. In addition, Mark coordinated with the Regional GIS Cooperative to ensure that the client’s GIS business needs were met.
Mark holds a B.S. in Geography from California State University, Sacramento. He has completed multiple Esri software and IT Project Management courses.
